What It Means to Pass the Tee
In golf, every shot begins with a single tee.
In The Legacy Circle, that tee becomes something deeper — a symbol of history, responsibility, and connection.
Passing the Tee is our tradition of honoring the past while empowering the future.
It represents one generation placing opportunity, wisdom, and love into the hands of the next.
A Symbol of Legacy
When a tee is passed from one hand to another, it carries meaning:
You belong in this game.
You come from greatness.
You are part of a larger story.
You have a responsibility to carry this forward.
It reminds each child that their presence is powerful and earned — and that the path they walk was paved by those who came before them.
The Two Pins: Honor & Legacy
Every junior in The Legacy Circle receives two pins:
The Legacy Pin
This is their pin — a symbol of their journey, identity, and commitment to the future.
The Honor Pin
This pin is meant to be passed intentionally.
Each child gives their Honor Pin to someone who influenced their golf journey — a parent, coach, mentor, grandparent, or friend.
By giving away the Honor Pin, each child participates in the tradition: recognizing the people who invested in them and remembering that legacy is built together.
