Start a Legacy Circle

Lead Where You Are

The Legacy Circle is designed to grow beyond one location and become a network of intentional spaces rooted in connection, culture, and care. If you see the vision and feel called to create this experience within your own community, we welcome you to take that step with purpose and alignment.

Starting a Legacy Circle is not about recreating the program in your own image. It is about carrying the heart of the mission forward while honoring the needs of the children you serve.

What It Means to Start a Legacy Circle

A Legacy Circle is a local gathering of young Black golfers who already play the game and are seeking deeper connection, culture, and community. These circles create safe spaces where children feel affirmed, encouraged, and supported both on and off the course.

Each circle is grounded in the core values of Passing the Tee while being shaped by the community that hosts it.

Who Should Start a Circle

  • A parent of a young Black golfer

  • A coach or instructor

  • A community leader or mentor

  • An advocate for culturally affirming youth spaces

  • Someone passionate about Black golf history and legacy

Guiding Principles

Every Legacy Circle must commit to:

  • Creating a culturally affirming and emotionally safe space

  • Centering connection over competition

  • Honoring Black golf history and those who paved the way

  • Encouraging confidence, identity, and belonging
